REGISTRATION FOR THE 2019 EDITION IS NOW OPEN !

AND STAY CONNECTED TO OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!

For this 3nd edition, we have created a different route from 2018 for the 86km (the big trail). We have modified the route to take into account our last year participants' feedback.

The start of the race will be in Vaujany (Le Collet), then you will leave for a first ascent on the Col du Sabot (2100m), before joining the Col du Couard (2334m)!

You will finish your first ascent at dawn on the high lakes of the Plan des Cavalles (massif des Grandes Rousses), with a passage at more than 2700m altitude!

During the downhill, you will take the Combe Charbonnière before joining the mythical Col de Sarenne (1999m) which lead you to the wonderfull Vallée du Ferrand!

Then, you will start the halfway point from the ascent leading to the resort Les 2 Alpes, where you will be welcomed by the animation team! From there, you will go down to Le Freney d'Oisans via the Roman gate of Bons before going up to Auris en Oisans to leave the Parc Naturel Régional des Écrins. There, you will enjoy rolling paths evolving in the combe of Sarenne before arriving at the last key point of this ultra, the village resort of Villard-Reculas which lead you to wonderfull balcony paths (of Combe, of Brepure) before the final downhill on Vaujany where you will be judged the arrival.

ITRA POINTS

THE 86KM RACE IS QUALIFYING RACE FOR THE ITRA

TRAIL

The natural spaces we are working on and the people that are taking care of those lands and territories you will be crossing for the race, are factors we do not control 100%. Therefore, we sometimes have to make changes to our different routes, which can slightly modify the distance and/or the altitude difference. This distance and altitude difference is therefore given as an indication.
